I became a father in October 2011 to my wonderful little man, Jackson and then again a couple of years later with Lilly, my daughter. I was lucky enough to have spent 3 months off with Jackson and then a magical but stressful 10 months off with Lilly. I hope to share with you some of my most precious moments mixed with some of the realities of being stay at home dad. It’s not all cuddles and fun… but there’s plenty of them too! I hope you enjoy my stories and I can’t wait to here some of yours!

A Family Tree

I became a Stay at Home Dad in September 2017. Technically, I work from home whilst studying for my degree and caring for my children. It’s a bag of laughs and we’re as mad  as a box of frogs (well, I am at least) but we love each other and that’s what matters.

I will probably end up sharing more recipes of mine than stories as most of my memories and stories are intertwined with food. Sounds piggish, I know.  Honestly, I can tell you when I ate my first snickers and the day that surrounds that event, or when I ate my first tagliatelle Carbonara. I recently had to be a bit more careful with what I eat due to an LPR condition, but it hasn’t stopped me being addicted to food – in fact, it has probably opened my world to a lot more foods and different ways of cooking. I will share as many as I can so you can enjoy them as much as I do.
